  • Can a Canadian French Composer be considered as a French composer?

    For the FAVA program in France we will accept Art Songs by Candian, Belgian and Swiss composers, in French language. For the Contests, the composers must be of French citizenship.

  • When is the lodging due?

    Tuition is due May 1, 2008

     

  • Can you put me in contact with someone with whom I could travel?

    If you wish to find a travel companion, please contact the office.

     

  • Can I pay by credit card?

    We are not equipped for a payment by credit card. We accept payments by check or money transfer.

     

  • Can I choose my roommate(s)?

    Please let us know your preference and we will try to satisfy your demand.

     

  • How many Art Songs should I bring?

    You are required to sing 4 Art Songs per session. You are required to sing 1 Art song by a French living composer per session. You can bring more songs to work on during the program in France.

     

  • Can I bring Opera arias to the program in France?

    You can bring opera arias that you can work on during the voice lessons and the master classes. The recitals will be exclusively Art Songs.

     

  • Do I have to memorize eveything before I come to France?

    The better prepared you come, the more you will get from the program.

     

  • I will have some guests in France. Where can they be lodged?
