Grand Concours de Chant 2009, Tribute to Gerard Souzay  

The Ten Finalists

The Finals took place in Butler School of Music, University of Texas

on February 28th at 2:00 pm

Three winners each received $1000

and will be presented in Recital in Paris, France on November 19, 2009

All other finalists received $500

The Grand Concours de Chant is dedicated to the discovery and support of talented

young singers who seek to further their skills through the study and performance of

French Art Song, French Opera and Operetta. It is designed to reward the most

accomplished and promising artists in this repertoire.
