Jacquelyn Kress  

Jacquelyn Kress, mezzo-soprano, is a B.M. candidate in Vocal Performance at the University of Illinois, studying under Professor Sylvia Stone. Most recently, Jacquelyn performed the role of Dorabella in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte at the University of Illinois. Also at the university, she has been seen in the ensemble of La Boheme (Puccini), La Vida Breve (De Falla), and Armide (Lully). In the summer of 2007, Jacquelyn played the role of Marcellina in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro with the Amadeus Opern Ensemble in Salzburg, Austria.  Next, she will be traveling to Périgord, France to perform the title role in Offenbach's La Périchole. In 2007, Jacquelyn was the recipient of the Voice Division Award from the University of Illinois.
